Want to know more about our 3 stock record types?

We know that budgeting for stock and its varying requirements can be a bit tricky. But Forecast 5 has 3 different record types to help you budget quicker and more accurately in a way that works for your business.

Stock

The standard stock record lets you handle the purchases of stock, rather than just expected monetary expenditure. Forecast 5 will automatically include a stock value in the balance sheet. The record allows you to reflect how the stock is used and how stock is purchased.

Stock on Hand

The Stock on Hand record handles a product being held in stock or work in progress in the balance sheet and may be comprised of components like stock made such as raw materials, labour and overheads.

However, the sales there is a method in sales to sell from Stock on Hand record. This can model standard cost manufacturing and make to stock

Stock Made

Stock Made is modelling a production process components are added to the stock record including raw materials labour overheads and costs this creates a cost of stock transferring from the other records. This record is driven direct from sales values or units effectively make to order with stock holding

We cover how to use the stock records extensively in our free online training videos and you can test them out yourself on our free 21 day trial.
